This Privacy Policy describes how Four-Leaf Anime and Four-Leaf Manga (“Apps”, “Services”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) collect, use, and protect information when you use our mobile applications and related services. By using the Apps, you acknowledge that your information will be handled as described in this Privacy Policy.
Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect:
- Email address
- Unique account identifier (UUID)
Authentication credentials are securely managed through Supabase. Passwords are not stored by the Apps in plain text.
Usage and Diagnostic Information
We collect limited technical and analytics information via third-party services, including:
- App version, device type, operating system version
- Crash reports and error logs
- Anonymous or pseudonymous analytics data may include feature usage, screen views, session duration, app interactions, device information, and diagnostic data used to understand app performance and improve functionality.
Push Notification
If enabled, Firebase Cloud Messaging generates a device token to deliver announcements and service notifications.
Subscriptions and Payments
Subscription status is managed through Qonversion, Google Play, or Apple App Store. Payment information is processed by the stores; we do not access or store your card details.
Information We Do Not Collect
We do not collect:
- Real names
- Physical addresses
- Phone numbers
- Sensitive personal information
We do not sell personal information or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
How We Use Information
We use collected information to:
- Create and manage user accounts
- Authenticate users
- Provide app features
- Send emails for account verification, password reset, and OTPs
- Deliver service notifications
- Monitor app performance and improve functionality
- Store local preferences and cached data on your device to improve performance and user experience
The Apps may store information locally on your device, including preferences, settings, cached content, authentication tokens, and other data necessary for app functionality and performance.
Where required by applicable law, we process personal information based on:
- Performance of a contract (providing the Services)
- Legitimate interests (security, analytics, service improvement)
- Compliance with legal obligations
- User consent where required
We may send service-related emails such as account verification, password resets, OTPs, and important announcements. We do not send unsolicited marketing emails.
Third Party
The Apps use the following services:
- Kitsu - anime and manga data
- Supabase - authentication and database
- Firebase Cloud Messaging - push notifications
- Crashlytics - crash reporting
- PostHog - analytics
- AWS SES/SMTP - account emails and OTPs
- Qonversion - subscription management
These third parties may process information according to their privacy policies. The Apps may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those external services.
Data Retention & Deletion
- You can delete your account at any time via the account deletion page on our website.
- Upon deletion, your account and associated data are permanently removed from active systems. Some information may remain temporarily in backups, logs, or records required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or disaster recovery.
- Your information may be processed and stored in countries outside your country of residence, including where our service providers operate. We take reasonable measures to ensure that such transfers are conducted in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
User Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to:
- Access your personal information
- Correct inaccurate information
- Delete your information
- Restrict or object to certain processing
- Receive a copy of your information where applicable
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

Children's Privacy
The Apps are not directed to children under 13 years of age, or the minimum age required by applicable law in the user's jurisdiction. Users under the age of majority should use the Apps only with the involvement or consent of a parent or legal guardian.
Business Transfers
If the Apps, developer, or related assets are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.
Security
We implement reasonable technical measures to protect your information, however, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy. Changes take effect when posted. Continued use of the Apps constitutes acceptance.
